I installed it to improve airflow for a mini gaming PC with the cabinet door open, and it performs exactly as I hoped. Installation was straightforward. The included template made cutting the opening simple, and mounting it was easy. In its standard configuration, the airflow direction pushes air toward you when facing the control panel. I initially tried reversing the airflow, but that introduced noticeable fan noise, likely due to turbulence from the grill design. After switching back to the stock configuration, it became extremely quiet, even at maximum speed. From about six feet away, it is barely audible. It moves a solid amount of air for its size. Depending on your enclosure, running multiple units together would likely create very strong airflow. The added outlets and USB ports make it a neat solution for AV cabinets where you want both cooling and integrated power control. The unit offers four fan speeds and two operating modes. You can run it in temperature mode, where it automatically activates at set heat levels, or in a standard manual speed mode. Fit and finish are excellent, and AC Infinity has a strong reputation for quality. Review: Fantastic product that does its job! - Wonderful product! The first thing you notice about this product is the professional care this company takes with shipping its products to you. It's Apple-level of thought in packaging here. Once you open the product the instructions are very easy to read and understand. The fan comes with a plastic template for use when you cut into your stand (or wherever it's going) which is much better than paper templates I've gotten with other types of products. The installation in my entertainment center was easy with the right tools. It hooks up to its own power supply and it's a nice bonus that the fan itself contains USB power outlets and plug-type outlets for other items to plug into and be powered by! Once installed the adjustable fan speed makes the noise level from a level of inaudible to somewhat audible in a quiet room. Once you have your sound system or TV going you won't hear the fan even on the highest setting. One thing to note about my particular installation. I installed this on the back of my entertainment center as a set-it-and-forget-it type of install. The only issue here is the speed and power controls are on the back of the fan unit and thus, hidden from my view on the back. This won't be an issue if you plan on installing the fan on the side of a unit or cabinet but I did take a picture of the back of the power unit for my own reference in case I ever have to reach behind the unit and change the settings. Once I dialed in the setting I wanted, however, I haven't had a need to adjust anything. As to the effectiveness of the fan? It's great! My AV receiver sits in the entertainment stand my wife picked out. I mentioned that because she picked out a beautiful piece of furniture for the stand but it has zero ventilation as a unit. Obviously an AV receiver generates a LOT of heat and cannot sit in a closed box without ventilation. This fan has perfectly performed and I can attest with the help of my laser thermometer that the inside of the closed box stays nice and cool at all times! I cannot recommend this unit to you more highly. In fact, I've gone on to purchase three more smaller fans from this same company (for use in the same entertainment stand for my PS5 that sits in a smaller section of the entertainment stand). They work perfectly as well. Very highly recommended!

The AC Infinity AIRPLATE P7 has been a great addition to my media cabinet setup. I installed it to improve airflow for a mini gaming PC with the cabinet door open, and it performs exactly as I hoped. Installation was straightforward. The included template made cutting the opening simple, and mounting it was easy. In its standard configuration, the airflow direction pushes air toward you when facing the control panel. I initially tried reversing the airflow, but that introduced noticeable fan noise, likely due to turbulence from the grill design. After switching back to the stock configuration, it became extremely quiet, even at maximum speed. From about six feet away, it is barely audible. It moves a solid amount of air for its size. Depending on your enclosure, running multiple units together would likely create very strong airflow. The added outlets and USB ports make it a neat solution for AV cabinets where you want both cooling and integrated power control. The unit offers four fan speeds and two operating modes. You can run it in temperature mode, where it automatically activates at set heat levels, or in a standard manual speed mode. Fit and finish are excellent, and AC Infinity has a strong reputation for quality. If you need clean, quiet airflow for a cabinet, rack, or media enclosure, this is a very well-designed option that I would definitely recommend my only wish would be for optimized fan/ grill for reversing airflow direction and having color matching screws instead of bright silver against the dark brushed finish of the fan system.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent build quality!

I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of this cooling fan. The grille is a great thickness of metal and the plastic is very solid, too. The included template (to help you figure out what size/shape hole to cut) is cut from a nice sheet of plastic that you wont accidentally tear or deform. I went with this model specifically because I wanted the built-in power outlets and I couldn't be happier. The thermostat has been keeping my two Wiim Amps cool in the tiny cabinet they are in and it has been doing so very quietly. I will definitely be looking at more AC Infinity cooling systems if a need arises.
