The first time was many years ago when I was going to Bangkok and feared that the pollution would trigger my asthma. At that time, I bought the powder, not the capsules. It had a dramatically positive affect on me. I breathed easy for over a week in Bangkok despite the bad air.Recently, I moved to an area where I found my allergies kicking in pretty badly. My asthma had me up every night and I could barely control it with rescue inhalers. I was forced to close myself in my home with air conditioning on and windows closed. This time, I bought the Yamoa capsules. They did nothing to help. I admit I missed a few doses, but I cannot imagine that was the problem.In desperation, I went to my doc and he prescribed Advair. However, it was so expensive that I felt I could not afford it. My doc stepped in and wrote to the company that makes it and got the price cut in half for me. This was still expensive, but I decided I would try it. It really did the job for me and I now have it budgeted for purchase once a month.But you want to know about Yamoa. I would advise you to get the powder if you have never tried the product. Be prepared to have to mask it in foods like peanut butter, but do not miss a dose. My understanding is that it works for some folks, not for others. For some it works for only a short time. For others, one dose cures them forever. If your asthma is bad enough, it is a small gamble to give this a try. Years ago I did use an herbal combination that helped my allergies, so I was excited to find this. Unfortunately, it did absolutely nothing for my asthma. If it was going to help, I believe I'd have noticed after taking the full bottle. (The herbs I used for hay fever, which are no longer manufactured, worked after taking them just one day, and after several years of using them, I had almost no allergies for years and years.)
