We placed it on top of a plastic rectangular six foot table that folds in half; what we did was to place the cardboard backing that holds the cardboard in place into the wedge of the two sides of the table. After the party I was thinking of throwing it away, but we placed it with our son's toys against the wall it looks magnificent. The item arrived in a large flat thin rectangular cardboard box.
