Review: good cleaning jags - I have a number of Pro shot Jags and like them. They have enough of a point to hold the patch in place, are durable and the slim portion behind the full bore section allows the patch to fold back and avoid getting stuck in the bore. But don't try to get too tight of a patch down the bore - I've bent some that way. My mistake - patches don't need to be that tight to work well - get better solvent, run more patches and be patient. Some of the heavy duty bore cleaners will eventually attack and degrade these tips so its good to replace now and then and have a few spares on hand.

I own an number of products from pro-tip. Perfect for pushing the small .22 patches down the barrel of a .22. Very solid brass construction. I expect it to last a long time.

I have a number of Pro shot Jags and like them. They have enough of a point to hold the patch in place, are durable and the slim portion behind the full bore section allows the patch to fold back and avoid getting stuck in the bore. But don't try to get too tight of a patch down the bore - I've bent some that way. My mistake - patches don't need to be that tight to work well - get better solvent, run more patches and be patient. Some of the heavy duty bore cleaners will eventually attack and degrade these tips so its good to replace now and then and have a few spares on hand.
