The locking mechanism is great with both keys working flawlessly. There is a lot of oil/ protectant on this originally so I would probably recommend re-greasing it to keep it up to maintain it. The only thing that kills me is that I will not fit into the space where the factory installed hitch is for my 2020 Chevy SUV. The bolt fits perfectly, the large locking head will fit and lock but there is no space for a key to fit to unlock it as the wiring harness is in the way. It won't fit going in the opposite direction either, with the lock to the right as I cannot insert the pin due to the afore mentioned wiring harness. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ this is the best one I've owned *by R***T on June 6, 2018* I've owned several Locking Hitch Pins over the years, this is the best one I've owned. The finish is beautiful and durable, the lock portion has a very positive and secure feel (unlike others I've had that felt kind of "sketchy" when locking or were difficult to unlock) and the rubber cover for the lock is actually substantial, seals well, and stays in place. Definitely recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT FUNCTIONALITY & VISUAL APPEAL *by P***Y on October 9, 2017* It works like the perfectly engineered mechanism that it is; very smooth locking cylinder function and tight fit when closed. Personally, I prefer the black surface because it "blends in" and doesn't visually distract from the triple-chrome-plated horned (miniature) bull skull that I have in place as a hitch cover on my snow white Hummer H3.
