I'm 65 years old and while I am not lacking hair on my head, it is thinning. I came across this in a sample set and was stuck how well it rinsed. I liked the scent, a soft men's mint certainly not overpowering and smelled natural not like a perfume. The next thing I noticed is my hair was clean. I mean CLEAN. I followed directions did the rinse repeat thing and the repeat was a rewarding overflow of rich suds. I bought the product. It is a bit pricey and with longer hair than most dudes I used it sparing but quickly found my hair properly cleaned and conditioned stayed cleaner longer and since it takes about the size of a nickel in your hand of product it lasts a surprisingly long time..around 2.5 to 3 months so the cost is actually not bad for a quality men's product. I like that it's American made as well as a men's product. I can pronounce all the natural ingredients names and with desertcart it has always been a flawless experience. The customer service team at Brickell is stellar and they do have great coupons a couple times a year but they don't work on desertcart itself. That said there are discounts on desertcart provided by Brickell itself in the price at times. I normally use a beard routine on my scruff but in a pinch or on the road to save room this product line works very smoothly and they have a beard oil that is seamless with this line. I am going to stay with this because I have tried a good number of other products and while many are adequate this works the best for me. It doesn't dry my hair out and it doesn't pull any color left and another HUGE plus is there is much less hair in the drain. It appears the ingredients have been intentionally left blank. **Q: is this color safe for hair that has been colored?** A: I would say this is a mild shampoo. My hair is gray :) I don't know how it reacts with hair color. **Q: Is there hemp oil anywhere in either the shampoo or conditioner? I had to send back a different brand for containing hemp oil** A: It does not. **Q: How long should you let the shampoo and the conditioner sit in your hair before rinsing?** A: my preference is i work the shampoo until you feel a noticeable difference in your hair. AKA oils and grime stripped. Then rinse the shampoo out and add the conditioner. Again work the conditioner in thoroughly and let that sit. I will use my face wash and then scrub my body down with body wash. I leave the conditioner in for that whole time until i'm about to get out then I'll rinse it out. This is my preference but everyone's hair is different.
