**Q: just got this and need a few extra parts. is there a parts list for this here?**
A: Mine came with one inside the owner manual.

**Q: Can the king and short hoses be hooked together?**
A: Don't know, the vacuum only came with the 17ft hose.

**Q: is the hose for this stif and hard to use or soft and flexable?**
A: I would say overall is is pretty flexible compared to others.   I actually loop it around the unit itself very easily and without it unraveling.

**Q: Can this be mounted to the floor laying down?**
A: It can be stored this way, however, it needs to be stood up right to be used. There is a ball valve inside that if it is not standing up straight, it will cut off the suction of the vacuum.
