I was biking for 5 hours straight one day in the summer Phoenix heat (110F+) and my water stayed cool the entire time. However, the first sip after riding for a while would be a bit warm, as it would sit in the hose rather than the bladder in between drinks. There are clips on each shoulder strap to route the hose and keep it in place, and the bite-to-drink mechanism works very well. Not a single leak anywhere in the whole system. Very durable bladder material with very clear volume markings. Also not super difficult to fill or clean. The pack itself is comfortable to wear, and has plenty of room for storage. I was able to get snacks, tools, a spare tube for my bike tires, phone, wallet, and more into this back WITH a full water bladder, and it still wasn't full! I just run vinegare water through it. **Q: How do you clean the tube and mouthpiece?
