I can pull blazing hot pans out of the oven like I was The Flame! They make everything cool to the touch. They are big on your hands. So you don’t have the deftness one might like, but small price to pay. Also they melt if you get them too close to FIRE. Got a pr for my son to use with his smoker and a pr for hubby to use when grilling...well hubbys hands arent huge but because the fingers on gloves are so short the gloves will not pull up far enough to keep them on...must be made for people with SHORT fingers...dont know if son has tried his yet but im sure they wont work for him either!!!!
