Review: Not for concrete - Did real well on wood and painted wood,but on concrete,it was terrible and would not dry.let it dry for 2 days still tacky, leafs where catching on it.it was 78 degrees and still would not dry.1 week later still tacky.i give it a f,don't buy it for concrete.

**Q: If you plan to paint the wood too. Should this go under or over the paint**
A: I would use it over any paint or stain. You may want to check the directions on the paint since it may already have wood sealant and protection, but an extra coat of Thompsons would probably add some additional protection. Make sure the paint is completely dry before using the Thompsons.

**Q: Does this work on fabric, such as canvas and cotton or nylon?**
A: The label specifically says: Do not use on asphalt, plastic, natuarl rubber or FABRIC, or on painted or recently stained surfaces. It is for wood, concrete, and brick.

**Q: I need to weather proof a paper attached to outdoor posting signs.  Will this work for me?**
A: This should work well as a lot of mariners use it to waterproof their maps when boating.  I would put at least 3 coats on, with a drying time of 1 hour between each coat.

**Q: It says it can be used on Any porus surface. Will it work on Field Jacket and Field Pants ????**
A: I would use Scotchgard Heavy Duty Watershield for fabrics on those. It worked on my friend's well-used tent, she'd used it before camping with her grandkids at the lake and it rained.

Works good remember a thin coat is all you need if you put too much it will be tacky for days and it repels water great
