As with any electronic device dropping would be bad, but this feels like it could break a bit easily. But if permently on desk really not an issue.Lightweight, pushing disc carriage in can cause the drive to slide, a better set of feet would help (I added two rubber, non-slip ones, makes a big difference to me at least).Kinda short cord, and being attached could be an issue if damaged.With the disappearance of DVS's and CD's and rise of Streaming and online delivery, this drive should be perfect do 98% of folks needing access to discs, and at a terrific price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as it should. *by L***S on July 31, 2025* Worked as expected ### ⭐ Doesn't Always Work *by A***R on July 21, 2025* This regularly has difficulty copying CDs. It doesn't matter if it's a Mac or PC, it simply doesn't recognize some tracks as playable/downloadable, or worse, it downloads only a portion of the track.
