Review: So so - Looks much more attractive in the picture.. in fact, very primitive and simplistic.
Review: Beautiful! - This thing is way more beautiful than it shows in the pics! Do not expect a traditional pure prism, this is not that. Each facet has filters that filter out and reflect a specific wavelength/color of light. Sometimes you can witness TIR or Total Internal Reflection too if you have the angle right, which is super cool to me as an optics nerd (Schmidt-Pechan vs Abbe Koenig prisms in binoculars, telescopes, etc) Its just a really pretty trinket, but not a traditional "rainbow" prism so dont expect that. I would buy again, I got the 25mm cube, thinking about getting the polyhedron now. It is so beautiful in sunlight and fun to play with different colors of lasers. But be careful in sunlight or with lasers! Wear eye protection! Some reflections can catch you off guard and are not necessarily what you would expect! Be careful. But its beautiful and packaged nicely. Only room for improvement would be if it came in a small velvet/microfiber sack or with a cloth to keep fingerprints off. Or a 3 pronged stand on which to hold it up, off centered. So cool to watch it in the light and turn it and see from different angles.
