The first things I picked up were the circle sections, they were plastic.. The upright and top section felt better. They were much more solid. I thought about sending it back and getting an all metal one.Then thought about how the metal ones fit together, previous obelisks I have assembled required a lot of screwing parts together, a tedious chore. They also stared to rust after within a couple of years, dismantling would be virtually impossible.The assembly for this was quick and easy. The completed structure felt very robust. The plastic coating on the uprights should offer a lot of protection. When I built the obelisk. I left out one section, it was needed at the moment.
