Seams are well made, drawstrings pull easily and seem to be fairly heavy duty at 1 mil thick, and you can see through the bags.... but they are not as clear as the first 2 photos would lead you to believe. That clarity was one of the reasons I purchased, I want to be able to clearly see what is inside the bags, as about 1/4 of them will be used for storage instead of trash. Anything pressed firmly against the plastic, you can still see clearly, but anything more than 2 inches away is fuzzy/hazy like trying to read someone's t-shirt 2 feet away through a 50 foot visability fog.
