Allow them to dry out thoroughly (can take about a week) - any moisture remaining in the casting can result in problems with paint adherence Many casting powders work well in our molds eg plaster of paris, ultracal 30 - gypsum powder (heavier and less porous - more stone-like), dental powder, hydrocal and cement-based powders, however, our molds have matte interiors therefore resin will not come out shiny.
