**Q: I don't see the measurement for the circumference of the top of the jug can you fit your hand down inside to be able to wash the inside of jug ?thankx**
A: The Jars and Cups are much larger than I thought they would be, but the neck of the bottle is small only about 3 fingers wide. They are clay and come with cleaning and care instructions

**Q: What can I put under the jug for the water leak?**
A: I purchased a cork mat that does a pretty good job. You just have to dry it out every few days because the pad can only absorb so much and the carafe is always condensation when there’s water in it

**Q: Where is this made?**
A: It is made in Turkey in the amazing city of Cappadocia. Check it out.

**Q: How do you wash the jar before first use ?**
A: Wash jar with plain water and immerse it in water for 24 hours and later let it completely dry first, then put water for drinking

This is a great all-in-one water jug for your night stand. It is a saucer to hold the jug, the jug itself, and a cup that also can be used a lid. There is a very slight seepage of water through the clay walls of the jug, but it is quite minor and might stop after a while (this is common with un-glazed clay pots in general). However, the seepage keeps the water cool in the summer so it's a good thing. The water tastes mildly of clay at first but that passes in a few days. It looks beautiful and holds enough water for several nights (I think it's about 1.7 liters). It is a bit pricey compared to what they cost in Turkey, but then gain, it's shipped direct from Istanbul and where else are you going to get one of these if you are in the US (or any other place that isn't Turkey)? I love it.
