It is a learning curve on where to have the bowl when mixing. I've only used it once so far. By this I mean where the plate the bowl sits on. I found that more to it's one side seems to be able to incorporate all of the batter a bit easier than just in the middle. I think it would be nice if they could have made a paddle or a whisk attachment for it. But I realized when I purchased it that it was a basic mixer with a stand.
