**Q: How have folks gotten around the challenge of replacing the batteries without having to replace the Velcro and magnet strip each time?**
A: I did not use entire Velcro or magnet strip for that reason, and I have had no issues with attaching in safe lower I used magnet piece on both ends and for the upper attached with Velcro again both ends.

**Q: How do you change the batteries if the light is attached with screws?**
A: I have these and work great in safe but i was wondering the same I have mine stuck with strip so when i need to change batteries i have to remove the stripe i guess then will need to figure out new adhesive, nice product poorly thought out though

**Q: How do you install it using the various methods. There aren’t any instructions.**
A: I used velcro because my safe has carpet lining.  Works great stays well!!

**Q: how many lumens?**
A: 3 - AA

Nice and bright, the light works great, just consider getting stronger adhesive for the provided velcro if your gun safe has fire resistant fabric where you have to stick it to.
