Useless for most fly fishing setups. *by G***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2020* Packaging not designed by fly fishers for sure.I’m sure the tippet is decent but the packaging is frustrating and not thought out. See pic - this tippet is bottom and regular spool on top.Maxcatch spool is unnecessarily tall, so if you want to stack more than 2-3 the stack way too tall for most holders. And if stacked no way of knowing what the thickness is of each - that is printed on the top, no printed band or color coding. Then the only way to secure it is a slot on underside of the spool, so you can’t get tippet end into in anything but bottom spool...so will just unravel.I guess if you store your tippet in the separate containers somewhere in your vest or pack these could work and be good value. 90% of us don’t. I carry upwards of 10 different tippets.Won’t buy again until they understand stacking is important. ### ⭐ I ordered 5X fluorocarbon leader material but was sent 1X nylon which is useless for my fly fishing. *by H***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2022* Comes with an excellent container to protect leader spool. The fluorocarbon leader material is strong and flexible and invisible in the water. Excellent for tippet leader. I shall return the envelope with the wrong leader to Whole Foods/Amazon return site. I cancelled that specific order. ### ⭐ Substantially worse than bigger brands *by E***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2020* Pros:-Price-Caught fishCons:-Thicker than other 5x I have. This tippet likes to float and sinks slowly, even with a 2 nymph + splitshot rig. Would not recommend for euro nymphing.-Not invisible at all- I could see several feet of tippet going down into the water. I came home and tested some line in a glass of clear water and it's completely visible.-Knot strength is poor. I've fished 3 times with this line and already lost 2 flies just casting because the knot came undone. I've tied the improved clinch knot hundreds of times and never had that issue with other tippet.
