## Description

The MOE Bipod is the latest and lightest bipod in the Magpul Bipod line. At 8oz, it weighs almost 40% less than some of our existing bipods, while still providing a dependable, stable platform to shoot from. Designed to mount to the popular Uncle Mike's Sling Swivel Stud, we utilized the latest technology in injection molding to offer a bipod with a significant reduction in weight that retains the functionality, strength, and value found in our other bipods. Attaching and detaching the MOE bipod is quick and easy with its rapid-attach sling stud mounting system. The self-locating, stainless-steel clasps ensure perfect alignment when mounting, and the large ergonomic thumbwheel allows for a strong grip and easy tightening. The non-marring, over-molded saddle was made to fit securely across a range of forend sizes, providing ideal load distribution without leaving a mark on your rifle. Adding an optional low-profile sling stud on the rear of the mount retains the ability to mount a sling to the forend of the rifle. With its low stack height of 1.73” when folded, the MOE Bipod is a streamlined package that stays out of the way until needed. The legs stow neatly forward and deploy without buttons or levers, snapping down and locking into position. The legs extend from 7 to 10 inches and slide and lock securely with the push of a button on seven ½-inch spaced, locking detents. Additionally, its staggered soft rubber feet hold fast on a variety of shooting surfaces. They’re easily removed with a roll pin punch should users choose to change feet, and legs accept most Atlas-pattern bipod replaceable feet. Made in the USA.

Review: Light, but effective - This polymer bipod will attach easily and safely to your rifle's sling stud; it has some flex, some wiggle, etc., but is generally more stable and versatile than dragging around shooting bags. I really like the large receptacle for the fore end; there's no padding there, but its a nice flat surface that doesn't scratch or otherwise mar the finish of your stock. It feels a little cheap, but it does what it says it does. I mounted it on several of my rifles, and achieved a nice snug and safe fit with each rifle I put it on. Additionally, the polymer construction means this is much lighter than a comparable Harris-style metal bipod. This is awesome if you plan on hunting with the bipod attached, or shooting with the bipod undeployed. It doesn't mess with the balance of the rifle as much as typical metal bipods. It won't necessarily impress anybody at the range, but it'll make your shots straighter. Recommended.
Review: Sturdy and light - I’ve been switching to these magpul bipods they are a great looking minimalist design and I like how the legs lock. They are very easy to deploy and stay open or closed when you need them to. They don’t have a tilt capability or much other adjustment other than length which fine since I only really shoot off a bench. There is no wobble and overall the build quality is good especially with how light these are. Great bang for your buck.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Bipods are usually mounted folding towards the muzzle.. could it be used folding back? Would this design be strong enough when deployed?**
A: It is not advisable because of the design of bipods. You "load" a bipod by putting slight forward pressure on it. Mounting the bipod backwards could cause it to collapse when being used.

**Q: After putting this on what do I do about a sling stud?**
A: There is a built in sling stud on the rear portion of the bipod.

**Q: will this fit my Ruger American Go Wild rifle?**
A: This particular model is designed to fit onto a standard sling stud, which my Savage FV-SR came standard with.  Many other rifles also have this same type of stud.  The stud can also be purchased separately at many places and screwed into a rifle as required.

**Q: Description says low profile sling mount. Can i use a magpul swivel mount kit #1?**
A: Yes it will work.

This polymer bipod will attach easily and safely to your rifle's sling stud; it has some flex, some wiggle, etc., but is generally more stable and versatile than dragging around shooting bags. I really like the large receptacle for the fore end; there's no padding there, but its a nice flat surface that doesn't scratch or otherwise mar the finish of your stock. It feels a little cheap, but it does what it says it does. I mounted it on several of my rifles, and achieved a nice snug and safe fit with each rifle I put it on. Additionally, the polymer construction means this is much lighter than a comparable Harris-style metal bipod. This is awesome if you plan on hunting with the bipod attached, or shooting with the bipod undeployed. It doesn't mess with the balance of the rifle as much as typical metal bipods. It won't necessarily impress anybody at the range, but it'll make your shots straighter. Recommended.

I’ve been switching to these magpul bipods they are a great looking minimalist design and I like how the legs lock. They are very easy to deploy and stay open or closed when you need them to.
