I did a lot of research because it was not cheap, and neither are the filter replacements. The researched paid off. I am a smoker, and have smokers in my home from time to time. This purifier is a beast and the filters are amazing. I wish I would have purchased it earlier. I was going to get off brand filters but they were not much cheaper, and these were still going strong after 8 months, the app said they were at 16% but I could tell around the 6 month mark they were starting to not do as good of a job. The Blueair is a Winner, and I will probably buy another for my office. The filters are heavy duty and the whole product is better than I could have imagined.
