I purchased the 10" solid Stainless Steel bar. My backsplash is tile and I didn't want to drill holes so we used an extreme mounting tape and it's fantastic. Having no issues what so ever. I will advise that you remove the magnet from the bar before installing and put the magnet on the wall first if you plan on using tape as we did. Get that piece where you want it then carefully place the bar and the magnet will snap it into place. It's a very strong magnet and if you're not careful your fingers will get nipped. All my best knives (I have 6 that I fit on the bar) are now in a place that won't dull them and are within easy reach when I need them. I will likely buy another as I get more knives. I definitely recommend this product.
