Sometimes however you need to have a ground referenced load which is where the 'P' channel devices come into their own. The only slight drawback is that if your supply rail exceeds that of the microcontroller you have to use a secondary drive transistor to pull the gate down - but that needn't cost you more than a few pence (see photo). The transistor can be almost any generic NPN (e.g. pn2222). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ok *by B***R on Reviewed in Belgium on 15 April 2024* Ça marche. Y aurait-il un doute ?
