It is also great as a hand sanitizer when put in a foaming dispenser. It is a clear solution and does not need to be mixed or shaken before use. It contains 0.05% of the active disinfectant ingredient, Thymol.Benefect Botanical Disinfectant does not clean the same way, it only disinfects. It has a much higher percentage of Thymol at 0.23%. It also needs to be swirled/shaken before use as the milky ingredients tend to float to the top. **Q: Do you dilute or use full strength** A: I use full strength in a clinical setting. If you need disinfection use it full strength. The less concentrated benefect is more like lysol in that you need 10min. of wet contact time. If you just need good cleaning, use something else. **Q: That's great that 0.05% of the ingredients are listed, but what constitutes the other 99.95%?** A: This product is registered with the EPA, so you can use the registration number on the SDS (found on the Benefect website) to find their EPA filing and the full, detailed list of ingredients along with the purpose for each ingredient. Just order a pump sprayer on in my case an electrical spray and get to work. You'll watch the mold melt away as you spray the product on the wall. Mop up the excess and sit a fan on the wall to dry it out before repainting or installing new dry wall. And your good as new.
