It is 99.8% pure isopropyl alcohol, exactly and only what it says they are. Which isn’t “just alcohol” it’s incredibly strong alcohol. I use gloves when using. **Q: Is this product ok to use on my macbook air's keys? there is only residue i want to remove and make like new again.** A: I have never had an issue when I gently wipe the keys clean **Q: Are thes sterile and can be used to clean cuts and abrasions on people** A: Yes. They can be used for cuts. They are sterile. **Q: are these antibacterial?** A: As in to use on a person, no. Surfaces only. I can’t see how one would say they are antibacterial when they kill basically everything. Lol. They’re extremely strong. So I guess antibacterial wouldn’t be the right wording as that would really refer to something a person would use on themselves? Which I wouldn’t recommend. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOT for Sanitizing or Against COVID-19 *by on Reviewed in the United States April 13, 2020* The wipes are great, but they are NOT for sanitizing against COVID-19.These are meant for cleaning electronics, not disinfecting. At 99.8%, their IPA content is too high to kill the Coronavirus on your hands or surfaces. What you want for sanitizing purposes is 70% IPA content.In order to disinfect properly, an IPA solution must have a minimum (at least 10%, preferably more like 30%) water content. You see, water acts as a catalyst and has a major role in denaturing the proteins of cell membranes of vegetative cells. Also, the presence of water slows down evaporation and increases the surface contact time with the membrane. With 99.8% IPA like this wipe, the solutions is not effective in breaching the virus's cell wall fully, and there is insufficient contact time due to rapid evaporation.99.8% IPA is effective as an hydrophobic solvent or cleaning agent for electronics and other products that are sensitive to water. But it will NOT kill COVID-19. Also, it will dry-out your skin very quickly.I made the mistake of buying this before I did the research. But at least I caught myself before putting it to use ineffectively, and making the mistake to think this will work as a sanitizing wipe.
