I too am allergic to something (not sure what) in other nail glues. I thought I would give this a try. I had contact dermatitis really badly 2 months ago. I thought it was from my gel nails. Took those off and let my hands heal. Then I applied fake nails already painted with regular nail glue. Broke out with bumpy and itchy fingers again. Figured it was something in the glues I’m using. I tried this glue on one nail and had no reaction the next day. Just to be safe I glued on another one and waited again. No reaction. I decided to go for it and glue them all on. I did wear a rubber glove on the hand I was using to place the nails each time. I’m very good at getting it all over my hands and wanted to avoid that. As far as how long it sticks. The picture below shows 8-9 days worth of wear. I wanted to change my color out or it probably would have lasted longer. I put mine on before bed so my hands weren’t in water for 4 hours after applying. I did not file my nails down but did clean them well with alcohol before applying glue. I think it is good to stay away from hot water ie. dishes, showers, etc. after use. Could just be me but beside them possibly not sticking as long, I’m paranoid the hot water opens up my pours for the glue. Like I said, paranoid. I sincerely never want contact dermatitis again. That stuff is horrible. I’m just happy I can use this. I’ll live without my gel nails and just glue on fake nails. It is much easier and cheaper when you think about. Also less damage on your nails. My lips are swelling and I’m taking a medication for allergies now.I used this on Sunday night, on Monday I had a little bit of a rash, by Wednesday all of my fingers had a rash that is very itchy and breaks open if you scratch it. Today, my lips are swollen which means it has entered my blood system.It does work very good if you are not allergic to anything. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent glue *by U***N on November 18, 2024* I used to get eyelash extensions, but then one day my eyes were swollen, red and horribly itchy. I stopped getting the eyelash extensions, but I began getting reactions in the same exact way in my eyes when I used regular nail glue to use with the KISS press on nails. I know, weird, right? Apparently the active allergic reaction causing chemical used in eyelash extension glue is the same chemical used in most nail adhesives. I searched and searched for a nail glue that I could live with, and this one works perfectly. Not only do I not break out in some weird allergic reaction, the glue works way better than anything I’ve ever used.
