The Cold Steel 90PTHFZ Trench Hawk is a 19-inch tactical tomahawk crafted from drop forged 1055 carbon steel, featuring an 8.75-inch dual-edged head designed for throwing and close-quarters combat. ## Description

The trench Hawk may well be the perfect Antidote to the raw terror of eyeball to eyeball combat in the confined spaces of a trench, bunker, alley or narrow hallway. All it takes is one stroke from either the vicious cutting edge or its brutal wedge shaped spike to end the fight, and if the party starts at longer range the trench Hawk's twin "business ends" make an accurate throw a breeze since there's double the chance of a Lethal hit. When used defensively, the trench Hawk's cutting edge and spike also provide a big advantage, as either can be used for hooking or trapping and, like the spike Hawk, their combined length can be used to parry or block an incoming blow. Drop forged from 1055 carbon steel and differentially hardened, the head of the trench Hawk will withstand tremendous blows and the awful stress of continued throwing. The handle of the trench Hawk is also highly resistant to shock and impact and will withstand abuse that would easily break even a tough Hickory handle. And, as an added benefit, is easily and cheaply replaced when finally worn out or broken from repeated throwing (note: any handle can, and will, break eventually). finally, to help protect its owner from its cutting edge and dangerously sharp spike, it comes with a patented Secure-Ex sheath that features a cleverly articulated design. Review: Sharp and to the point. - Its a tomahawk what more do you want to know about it. Its sharp on both sides and hold an edge nicely on some trees that fell during a storm. Takes a few swings on larger branches but works good not that this tomahawk was built for field craft but it does it and its lighter than a camp hatchet or ax so better at weight reductions on my hiking and camping pack. Sheath is really nice but I wish it had some alice strap or something to attach it to a bag but I have made it work with a piece of leather meant to hold a sword scabbard I picked up years ago
Review: Looks great and built well - Feels great in the hand, a bit top heavy but that's to be expected. There's no finger grooves at the bottom where you might grip when using the tomahawk, but that's minor. Seemed well made, minor cosmetic blemishes on the edge of the blade.

Its a tomahawk what more do you want to know about it. Its sharp on both sides and hold an edge nicely on some trees that fell during a storm. Takes a few swings on larger branches but works good not that this tomahawk was built for field craft but it does it and its lighter than a camp hatchet or ax so better at weight reductions on my hiking and camping pack. Sheath is really nice but I wish it had some alice strap or something to attach it to a bag but I have made it work with a piece of leather meant to hold a sword scabbard I picked up years ago

Feels great in the hand, a bit top heavy but that's to be expected. There's no finger grooves at the bottom where you might grip when using the tomahawk, but that's minor. Seemed well made, minor cosmetic blemishes on the edge of the blade.
