On this earth she is a member of the J.S.A. not only that Karen Starr is also running her own business, called Starrware lab's. On top of all that finds herself battling with various enemies. In one of the stories collected in this book, Power Girl becomes the object of Vartox's affections. Vartox tries to win her over by unleashing a dangerous alien creature on earth, with the intention of recapturing it in order to win Karen's heart. With hilarious consequences. The writing is superb in my opinion and, the artwork by Amanda Conner is absolutely stunning. Power Girl looks irresistibly beautiful. There are also some cameo appearances by the likes of Superman, Supergirl and, Wonder Woman etc. Overall a really enjoyable and, fun comic book to read. I happily recommend it. I've heard of Power Girl, seen her in other stuff but never read anything stand alone about her. This is a great collection. A perfect combination of action, mystery and humour. Power Girl is a well drawn character, a much more interesting interpretation of the "Kryptonian" in my view, which made the stories more interesting.
