Was tired of cheap, plastic showerheads. I wanted something metal that also held filtering beads or products, the plastic ones degrade and break over time, I had one explode in my face a couple years ago. Bad enough using hot water in plastic, but add exploding pieces near ones eyes and it's time to move on. Found most everything is made from light weight plastics, even expensive showerheads. Tried the Sprite one, but dropped it and broke it and just didn't have another $70 to drop on a new one.
