Not like replacing 100 watt bulb, but decor possibilities endless. *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2018* We replaced stapled-up fiber ceiling tiles with a drop ceiling system, which had seven 100 watt incandescent lights. We looked for flat panel flush mount incandescent lights to replace them but were unable to find any. (Suspect EPA restrictions to 100 watts bulbs had something to with that.) As it turns out, these LED lights are superior in every way. They are lightweight so ceiling panels don't sag. They produce significantly more light. We replaced seven lights with six and now the room is illuminated light an office. A bonus we weren't anticipating is their facility to be dimmed. They are easily installed and wired with basic electrical knowledge.We are so impressed with these lights, we anticipate replacing the lights in the other basement room. If they last as long as described, they'll outlast us. ### ⭐ No Response on Damaged Items from Distributor *by R***D on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2017* I recently purchased 9 of these for a basement remodel I was doing. I really like the idea design of these so decided to give them a shot. I ordered them in advance as I saw they were selling out fast. once I got around to installing them I noticed one was damaged on the white frame, but no damage to the box or the LED aspect of the light. So I installed it. Unfortunately, there was some damage to the item that is not visible on the exterior from whatever impacted it the item. The light blinks for the first 10 mins it is turned on then it is fine. I have tried to contact the contact on the sheet of instructions that came with the item but no response. I also had 1 unit that just never lite up. No visible damage to the unit just doesn't turn on. Checked the wires and tried other areas it to confirm but just DOA, again looking to just get a swap out, but I have had no luck contacting anyone at the email address provided with the instructions. This is the reason behind the poor rating. If someone would contact me I would gladly update my rating and recommend these items to my friends that have asked about them in interest as they have possible uses for them in upcoming projects. I was replacing and re-locating my bathroom fan, and decided I'd rather have a light than patch the hole. I only had to enlarge my original hole by an inch, wired this to the original wiring, put a screw in the transformer just to keep it clean, and then plug this in. It pops into the hole with no tools (just springs on the sides) and takes around 60 seconds to wire (only because I had to strip the insulation a bit further). It is very bright, diffuse, and installs very cleanly.
