I used this jack for only the second time, and during normal use it suffered a catastrophic failure. The jack was positioned correctly under the designated lifting point of my vehicle and was placed on a stable, solid surface. Despite being used correctly, it suddenly lowered on its own and slipped out from under the vehicle without any warning. As a result, my vehicle fell unexpectedly. The jack completely collapsed and was destroyed. The incident caused damage to my car, including bent cooling and air conditioning radiators. Most importantly, I narrowly escaped serious injury, as I managed to get out from underneath the vehicle just in time.
