The only con is it has to be hung up to dry, but since I leave my aprons hanging up that won't be an issue for me. I'm not into frills but this is feminine. It's definitely plus-sized. The apron is meant to cover you but the long ties wrap back around to tie in front. It looks like it would work for up to a 50" waist so size 28? I like that it ties at the neck. I got it the length I wanted then knotted it to slip over my head-perfect. I'm not a big apron wearer but am tired of ruining the front of my shirts in the kitchen. I'm happy with this purchase and it would make a nice gift.Not sure why another reviewer said this had a protective layer? It IS lined on the back but I don't feel a soak-proof layer in between? No matter. It does protect your clothes well enough.
