They are well made, dishwasher safe and shred pork and chicken like crazy. I gave a friend of mine a pair because he said using forks to shred meat was not easy on his hands. He loved these! Said his brother-in-law bought some from a nationally known grill company and these put the others to shame. If you do a lot of shredding, I would highly recommend these. I used them to remove the brisket from the pan and transfer it to a cutting board without any difficulty. I used the claws to hold the brisket while I cut it up, making the job so much easier. I then used the claws to transfer the cut slices to another pan. What a great product.These claws are more expensive than the plastic ones, but you do get your money's worth.
