A: Metal

**Q: Can you change bits**
A: Yes, the driver bit is replaceable. You will probably need a pair of pliers to remove the bit, but it can be replaced with any standard hex bit. Countersink depth is pre-set.

**Q: It has magnet?**
A: Yes.  If you have a large job, I would recommend buying an extra.  I am doing my garage, and after some use it has been a little inconsistent.  Could be User error and not a product issue.

a couple of us tried this on ceiling sheet rock and had trouble getting the screws in far enough. I have done as well with much cheaper drivers. The magnets are good.
