They are really easy to use because they are curved and easy to grab a hold of to pull the floss under my bridge. **Q: Recent buyers - are these still blue as one recent review said color changed to ?** A: The last ones I received were blue and have never seen another Color and as long as they work the same, why would the color matter? **Q: What is the threader made of?** A: It's a hard plastic (of sorts). I've used these for a dozen years, and never had one break. They are so strong, that you can use one, more than once. I just run it under hot/soapy water.
