I don't use this much and I missed a glaring flaw in the design: The tare/zero button is so stiff and the plastic so weak that when pressing the button it interferes with the balance up to about 2.5g, and thus one can never get an accurate zero or tare mass.Previous review:I use a "big boy" high precision balance at work. I picked this up to measure my filament spools for my 3D printing to figure their capacity. I wasn't expecting much, honestly, and putting it together did have my expectations drop, but I was pleasantly surprised. It comes with 2 500g cal. weights. I calibrated it and tested with a 0 25g airsoft bb, which measured 0.25g on the scale. That's pretty precise for a $50 scale. My only gripe so far is the the four legs don't fit properly when screwed into the under side of the unit. I had to wrap the screws in aluminum foil in order to fit the screw holes. I've purchased this almost a year ago. after 2 months I noticed it kept shutting off on me. I don't use this often so I disregard it. well now I'm much more busier and I need a scale to help me with proper measurement, and this is not helping me it keeps shutting off until I move the power cord around, but now that doesn't even help and now I'm out of a scale. I'm frustrated because this is not even a year old I should have read the reviews before purchasing.
