This kit gives you everything you need: water purifier, instant live eggs and growth food. These are the easiest pets to have. Aquarium has a ventilated lid and a built in magnifier. Directions 1. Water temperature: Check the temperature chart for the best hatching time. Warmer water (around 75-80°F) helps eggs hatch faster.. 2. Egg anatomy: Some eggs have thinner shells and hatch quicker, while others have thicker shells and take longer. It's natural biological variation. 3. Healthy light: Put your tank near a window facing north for good, but not direct, light. This helps algae grow, which Sea-Monkeys eat. 4. Feeding: Only feed Sea-Monkeys when the water is clear. Too much food can harm them. 5. Evaporation: If you notice the water level decreasing in your tank, refill with bottled drinking water which is at the same temperature as the tank water. We push air in the tank 2 / day to oxygenated and seem to be doing good they’re growing pretty quickly we also have them in a indirect sunlight **Q: Where can i buy more food?** A: Just get the powdered algae or pelletier spirulina powder on amazon **Q: Do you have to add air bubbles with a pipette?** A: Nope. I sometimes add some new water or take some of their old water and shake it up to add oxygen. Have had mine for 6 months now and they are doing great in a regular fish bowl with no filters they like dirty water but I don't let it get too dirty. I bought 2 kits and put both after a few weeks in the fish bowl with treated distilled salt water. **Q: Do you have to buy more water purifier as time goes on? Or clean the tank?** A: If you are replacing water from evaporation, you will not have to use more purifier, because the salt does not evaporate. If you are going to be changing some of the water in order to clean the tank, you will need to add a little bit of purifier OR use marine aquarium salt. The "purifier" is not really purifier, since you start out using distilled water, there is nothing to purify. It is really just salt and minerals. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Terrible *by S***D on 24 December 2025* Just buy the £10 version. The picture is deceiving and it’s lucky to stand 10cm high. £43 for this product is a joke ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Produto idêntico a foto. *by I***I on 11 March 2026* Chegou em ótimo estado antes do tempo previsto. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So cool! *by Y***A on 20 August 2025* Purchased as a gift for my 10 year old daughter. She was so thrilled and as was I to share a childhood nostalgic memory with her! Surprised that they did hatch on the first attempt (took a few days and made sure to follow instructions carefully ie use bottled water) and they grew! What a cool experiment. We have some eggs left over as we didnt do the whole batch just in case but are excited for round 2. The first batch died after a couple months because my girl forgot to keep the water fresh and not get stagnant and possibly forgot to feed.. so this has been a great lesson in responsible pet care and the consequences of improper care. Hopefully we do better in the next batch! We'll worth the purchase! ## Frequently Bought Together - Sea-Monkeys® Ocean Zoo Neon - World's Only Instant Pets® - Assorted Colors - Ages 6+ (Pack of 1) - Animagic Aqua Dragons Hatch 'n' Grow Basic Tank | Build an Aquatic Ecosystem, Watch Prehistoric Pets Hatch & Grow Science Kit | Ages 6+ - Sea-Monkeys® Instant Life - World's Only Instant Pets® - Ages 6+ (Pack of 1) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/462203279-sea-monkeys-ocean-zoo-6-pieces-neon-toy-aquarium-kit](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/462203279-sea-monkeys-ocean-zoo-6-pieces-neon-toy-aquarium-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
