In my case, I had to cut out a wall section in a closet to gain access to the motor. The motor must be unscrewed from the base and rotated towards you to access the switch. I could not unscrew the two retaining screws with any socket wrench that I owned. Access is very tight. I finally found one shrew driver socket that fit. Once the two screws are removed, installation is easy. Reassembly is easy as well. Make sure that you re tighten all of the PVC fittings, or you will have major leakage issues. They only need to be hand tightened after the motor is screwed back into the housing. I did not replace the push button, only the switch.
