In particolare, l'ho provato con un vecchio MultiEcuScan v2.2 sotto Windows 10 su vettura lancia delta III 1.6 diesel del 2013. Dopo averlo collegato alla porta USB del PC, acceso l'auto e lanciato la scansione interfacce 327 disponibili sotto MultiEcuScan, è stata rilevata dopo qualche decina di secondi la porta seriale COM corrispondente alla interfaccia, es. COM 23, senza aver dovuto installare driver. Viene rilevata come interfaccia Versione 1.4.
