It’s has an aux cord attached to the microphone, so with the new iphones, you still need an aux to adaptor if you don’t have one. I got this for my kids who makes videos, movies and trailers from the imovie app for you tube and videos for friends and family. I tried it with my phone and we did a test run with the kids and they enjoyed it. The voice was clear and it sounds like sounds from a standard microphone. It’s not bluetooth compatible so it did come with an extra cord to extend the length of the microphone with is good. My boys have ipads to use with this so the aux cord is fine and they don’t need an adaptor.
