All the zippers work very well. The zipper in front zips up through the neck area to keep the neck warm. I usually wear a 3X: I ordered a 3X and it fits. You can tighten the end of the arms at the wrist by using the sewn-in Velcro to keep the arms from falling over the hand area (this is great for me because 3X arms are usually too long for me). It comes in a bag which you can use in the offseason to store the coat (which works nice for me because I have limited closet space in my camper trailer). This last year I moved from a warmer climate (southern CA) to a colder climate (northern CA) and needed a warmer jacket, which I haven't needed in years. This one fits the bill.
