With previous hairbrushes he somehow managed to only ever brush the top layer of his hair, leaving the rest of it to sit tangled underneath.I bought this one because his hairbrush was dirty and instead of cleaning it I bought a new one on Amazon because I’m a millennial and I make poor life choices.Or at least I thought it was a poor life choice. It is red. My child likes red. I chose this color because I know it would have a higher rate of acceptance. It worked.2. It’s entertaining. This is fun to look at because of the spiral and also press in and out with your fingers because it’s so flexible. My child immediately was interested and started playing with it like it was a toy. He was possibly hypnotized into accepting it.3. It takes the tangles out. I’m not sure why I thought detangling brushes were a scam? I have been ripping my hair apart for years and had no idea I could have been experiencing this instead. I just washed my annoyingly long, thick, dyed hair and instead of wrestling with my garbage brush I slid this through like butter glides across a warm pan.4.
