Not many though they are quite pretty colors. If you look up the holbein pastel pencils color names they are the same names in this set of 50 and they match almost perfectly . I bought this set and I have the 240 set also abd these are a great addition to them. I like a slightly harder pencil.** A: They are not as soft as primacolor premiers. They are harder. I tend to use pressure when working with pencils and these are hard enough to work well for me but still will glide onto paper better than some others.
