They are small enough to kind of stack in a corner if they are not being used. Also, they don't take up a lot of space when they are being used. 4. They are durable, soft, easy to clean, and the perfect size that they aren’t too bulky. My son has a set for his sensory room as well (Autism) and he loves them. The texture is great for sensory sensitive children as well. Colors are nice (wish there were more options). I feel I got more than my moneys worth and you will too. These changed my kids lives literally. The material is extremely easy to clean, sanitizes easily, stays in place when you put them down. I especially liked how I could do different setups with it.
