A: It depends on what color you got as to what toxic ingredients/materials your brush contains. I would consult the nutritional information on the packaging. All brushes should come sealed in a stay fresh container. If your brush was not in a stay fresh container then it's not recommended that you consume it.

**Q: Man, this brush smells! Works great, but the plastic/chemical smell is overwhelming. Anyone else have this problem? Does the stench ever go away?**
A: When I opened the box I was overwhelmed by the intense smell of chemicals. So much so I almost threw up. This brush is made of something that can’t be healthy. I’m afraid to use it. I’ll be buying my next brush from USA.

**Q: Does it work well with drying hair**
A: We use it on wet hair, dry hair, and drying/damp hair. :) It actually makes brushing hair enjoyable for my daughter. She says it "silks" through her hair. :)
