It seemed to have a better physical construct quality than the original. Btw I am not a super handy kind of guy but this was easy. Run capacitor is only two outside screws and one inside screw away on an Hayward super pump 1HP (gold). This cost me a little research and 13 bucks, replacement took me 10 minutes max —- saving me hundreds in service/ replacement costs! Few days in, it is going strong. Easy, fast reliable start.
