My travel and backup system for years was the Dolce Gusto machine with their pods - but those are apparently, being discontinued and the machines were finicky and tended to leak. So I went hunting for a coffee solution that was pod free and thought I would just get another Italian espresso machine until I saw the current pricing structures and noped out. Initially, I watched a ton of review videos on everything out there and stumbled onto this machine by accident. I bought it thinking it would serve in the short term til I found what I really wanted. Turns out, THIS SIMPLE machine is exactly what I wanted! It is dead simple to use - put your favorite ground coffee in the reusable basket filter (NO PODS!), pour in the amount of water you want, press the hot brew button, walk away. Want hot real milk and foam? Put the whole milk in the frother, press hot cap or hot latte (deoe6on size) and walk away. An iced vanilla latte is the best thing ever with minimal effort. Cold foam button on the milk, iced brew button on the brewer and it does both perfectly. Fill your included iced latte glass with ice and flavored syrup, coffees brews into the cup and then you pour the frothed milk over all of it, screw on the lid and go.
