The density is low and it's not as thick as the picture of the model presumes. In fact it's not even the same curl pattern. The curls are much looser, not bouncy and fluffy as a real kinky curl out. Even after going through with my fingers, still looked fairly flat. No way it could replicate 4a hair. Maybe more of a thin 3b. Waste of $100, but I'll live.
