I never knew about the 'Sophian Tradition' before this but it resonated with me. The whole idea that the true mission of spirituality is for our souls to become one with God makes a lot of sense. This is much like the Hindu beliefs as well. The idea of Lord Yeshua and Lady Mary being the male and female aspect of the Christos appealed to me. One comparison that I felt which is not mentioned in the book is also the relationship between Krishna and Radha.The book describes the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes and other spiritual insights with clarity and purpose. I personally really enjoyed the author's style of writing very much.The whole concept of the 'Light Continuum' was really cool. Also was the belief in the Sophian Tradition that there are millions upon millions of habitable worlds and each one of these is a place where each one of us can potentially go on a mission as a light bearer someday after attaining our Christos level. Just as Lord Yeshua came to Earth, we can go to these worlds in the same capacity.I also found the idea of Seth being the True Son of Adam instead of Cain and Abel to be most interesting. I do not want to reveal more on this, let future readers see for themselves.I must also point out that the idea of John The Baptist being Elijah and Jesus (Yeshua) being Elisha in previous incarnations just resonates with truth! I have found it eye-opening and awesomely revealing and has filled in a lot of holes in my own spirituality. It is the tip of the iceberg as far as understanding the deeper meaning of relationship with yourself and with God. Tau Malachi explains the esoteric teachings that have been passed on behind the veil of religion that is light and truth and what I feel in my heart is the true way of experiencing God as the Lord Jesus tried to convey in his short time on this plane. The beautiful revelation that more people need to know is that Jesus Yeshua is still very much present among us and only the vanquishing of our own ignorance is the thing that keeps us from knowing His truth.If you are considering reading any of Tau Malachi books I would strongly recommend this one first as you need to familiarize yourself with the language of the Gnostics to grasp the message in the other books. But by reading this as a foundation you will be able to grasp the messages in the other books that Tau Malachi has taken the time to reveal to those who have thirst for this knowledge and hopefully bring closer to true enlightenment. This is a hard to put down book and not too many dull moments. There is a lot to grasp so I know I will probably read it more than once. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Great Primer in Sophian Gnostic Christianity *by K***7 on Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2013* If you're looking for a complete, easy to understand introduction to the Gnostic religion, here it is. Tau Malachai tells the story of who the Christian Gnostics were, where they originated and what happened to them, along with their basic teachings and beliefs, in an easy, well-organized and easy conversational manner. Or you could go to the internet (or Library) and try to sift through dozens of scholarly, difficult to understand manuals, or even go right to the Nag Hammadi codices and Dead Sea Scrolls and try to sort out from the voluminous Gospels, stories and texts, and see if you can come up with a concise, accurate account and understanding of these mysterious persons who believed in those heretical writings that our Christian fathers deleted from our Bible. But Tau Malachi gives it all to you on a silver platter and I have to warn you, you may begin to wonder if we've been told the whole Truth of this mysterious man from Galilee. You may find yourself wanting to explore those Gnostic Gospels and stories that really upset the Christian apple cart. You'll find that they give quite a different and amazing view of our universe, our true creator, and true Father/Mother God and his/her Son, along with x-rated stories of Adam and Eve, their children, and the demon creators.
