The tiny bottles I thought were very small but turns out they cover a larger area than I thought they would. I found that mixing the colors gave better depth and natural look. I used a water proof glue and used it on a very large owl that lives outside, without cover. It has been there for months including one ice storm and still looks great. Was very surprised how well it has held up. Real moss doesn't hold u this well. The picture is a candle that lives outside under cover. While this item is viewed much closer to the eye, it still maintains it's illusion of mossness. The dried hops flowers, see picture, can't get wet so it must be kept out of the rain, but the moss holds up regardless. I recommend a water proof, clear drying glue to perfect the moss illusion. Even if you wipe it with your hand it won't come off once the glue is dry. I used a hand applied glue for spot control.
